FACTORY WORKER

Duties: Various Production Line Jobs

Location: Aurora, Ohio Plant

Hours: Varies - Our plant runs around the clock – 12 hour shifts with an average of 42 hours per week (3 days on and 4 days off/4 days on and 3 days off).

Job starts at $20/hour

Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform manual labor tasks for manufacturing job at the CANTEX, Aurora, Ohio plant.
  • Ability to learn to use measuring tools
  • Willing to work in semi-controlled temperature environment
  • Willing to work night shift if needed
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Will follow all safety and work rules
  • Able to pass drug screen and physical after job offer
  • Willing to follow instructions from supervisors
  • Has a good work ethic and gets along with fellow workers

VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS

Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Job Summary:  VP Operations has overall responsibility for manufacturing and engineering functions including new product development, quality control and utilities management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Builds and develops the manufacturing and engineering organizations to support the strategic direction of the company
  • Establishes operation standards for cost control, waste reduction and quality.
  • Identifies and implements manufacturing “best practices” company wide
  • Supports and promotes the CANTEX Safety Program
  • Maintains and implements changes in compound formulations
  • Provides technical advice for other CANTEX departments and customers
  • Researches and develops new product lines for the company
  • Insures compliance with industry standards (UL, ETL and CSA)
  • Evaluates utility needs and recommends cost-savings strategies
  • Advises on the purchase of raw materials
  • Recommends and implements changes in the manufacturing processes
  • Sets and insures compliance with CANTEX quality standards
  • Sets productivity goals and monitors compliance

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelors degree required – engineering degree preferred
  • At least 10 years experience in a similar position and field
  • Excellent communication presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • High ethics and moral values required as a highly visible executive of the company
  • Excellent people skills – ability to build good working relationships and get work done through subordinates
